What this page is

OCD treatment is a program week.

OCD treatment here is PHP or IOP in Laguna Beach, not a standalone exposure clinic. Exposure work sits in the plan when it belongs there, next to trauma work and use when that was the relief. We start with safety so the body can stay in the room. It is not a hospital or a locked unit.

The ritual had a job, and we treat that job with the rest of the week.

A week with the body first

How OCD sits in a PHP or IOP week.

An OCD IOP or PHP day at Exist runs the whole model. Group for the pattern. 1:1 for the history. Exposure work when it belongs in the plan. Somatic work for the nervous system. Psychiatry when medication is part of it. You go home at night — or to Truth House if you are already in the program and home is far or not the right night.

  1. Hands at a stone sink under a dusk window, water still, warm side light.

    Body

Breath, yoga, the skills that make a hard hour survivable. The week starts in the body when the ritual will not stand down.

  2. A brass key on a teak counter beside a closed cabinet, mauve last light.

    Mind

The automatic thought, the need to be sure. We work the reaction before asking you to change the life.

  3. A person walking a weathered boardwalk at dusk, back to camera, counting the boards.

    Brain

What sits under the pattern — OCD, trauma, and use read as one history, in a safe room.

  4. An open doorway onto the beach at dusk, threshold in last gold light.

    Skills

Exposure when it belongs, then time with your own clinician. Not a hallway that waits until you are “ready enough” for the rest of the work.

This is not a directory of other conditions. Those live on the hub. These are the ways OCD arrives here — treated together, not after each other.
